My Best Friend-His Story in Silence

Why Mental Health Is So Important To Me!

My entire life I have been around mental health but what was to confront me fourteen years ago was a man who had been neglected by the system because of the severity of his case,

He is my best friend, and he is fit and well today. His story?

At three years old diagnosed with ADHD.

Ten years old diagnosed with Depression

Seventeen years old diagnosed with Multiple Psychotic Schizophrenia

Twenty-one years old diagnosed with Bipolar, and

Twenty-nine years old diagnosed with PTS.

Living with mental illness can cause an increased risk of homelessness, and conversely, living without a home can increase the likelihood of mental illness.- I’ve learnt from a wise man; I’ve lived with him for fourteen years.-People with mental illness are more at risk of homelessness, due to,- increased vulnerability,- difficulty sustaining employment, and- withdrawing from friends and family.-My best friend has lived it for fifty-three years.-The stress that comes with homelessness also in turn increases the risk of mental illness

He lived there for 8 years!

Living without a home can increase fear, anxiety, depression, sleeplessness and can lead to substance abuse as a coping mechanism daily- He didn’t just use! He sold it to sustain his use just to silence the noise in his head!

If you’ve been there before you will know what I mean!-Mental health affects many in the world and so many do it in silence and there is no need anymore. I now know that mental health is a nutritional deficiency. How do I now? I have lived the change with someone who still lives a life but better than he would have expected.

All it took was knowledge and a change in the way we did things with regards to nutrition.-Spare a thought today for mental health as you read this, It affects us all in one way or another….At some stage in our lives.

This site was created to share my thoughts before, during and post cancer.  I wanted to share with you how it can come and come fast and what it does when it comes to get you.  It doesn't only effect you but to all the people around you who are close.  Family, dear friends, nurses, doctors, who will be there to give you all the support, strength and the courage to be strong.  More importantly it gives you the time to stay positive as you concentrate and focused on kicking this bug in the you know where.  'Staying Positive' is one of the most important things you can ever do. Nothing Is Terminal!  Only What We Do To Our Bodies Decides That. I would also love to share with you what I did, what the "Juju" is that I am using to ensure good health, youthful feel for life and longer time living my life as healthy as it was meant to be.  I am now sixty verging on sixty-one and the healthiest I have ever been for a very long time.  This site is about how I went from three to six months from being six foot under to how I challenged the system and the way my health was to make it through cancer alive with both allopathic medicine, chemo and the mass of pills and otherwise, and organic medicines.  As you can say it worked as I am still here.
