This comes about from a little research I have been doing but thought it interesting reading. Really makes you think!
These are reports from WHO, World Health Organization, re:coronavirus. It has been around for a while and pandemic but never more pronounced as it is now. Click on the dates below and also look at where these areas are in the early days of coronavirus. More importantly, look where the first entry starts us out thinking about coronavirus in September 2012. So! Is it new or has it taken this long to manifest into what we see today? It came after the Human infection with avian influenza A(H7N9) virus then Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV).
When did it change to CoVid 19 and for what reason?
These are some of the dates extacted from the WHO website and they all do not read that it started in China. Is this a new strain? Who would have thought that it might have started in the Middle East because most, if not all, WHO records point to other places, you can check them out on the Full List below.

- 18 June 2018 Between 23 February and 16 March 2017 the national IHR focal point of Saudi Arabia reported 18 additional cases of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS) including two fatal cases.
- 3 Apr 2017 An outbreak of MERS occurred in a haemodialysis unit in a hospital in Riyadh. Contact tracing revealed that eight symptomatic and two asymptomatic cases are associated with this outbreak.
- 16 May 2016 On 4 May 2016, the National IHR Focal Point of Qatar notified WHO of one additional case of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection.
- 26 Jun 2015 On 4 May 2016, the National IHR Focal Point of Qatar notified WHO of one additional case of Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) infection.
- 23 Sept 2012 First entry in WHO records for MERS Coronavirus. 23 SEPTEMBER 2012 – On 22 September 2012, the United Kingdom (UK) informed WHO of a case of acute respiratory syndrome with renal failure with travel history to Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
